Going
Online and make more

A website is a necessary tool for any business or organization in today's world. But some websites do well and others fail to do anything. What is it that makes a website successful?
A successful website needs to take note of the following three things to be successful:-
A website needs stream of visitors, also known as website traffic, who are interested in what you have to offer. You can have the most killer website in the world, with an incredible message and a strong call to action, and if no one visits it, then it sums up to nothing and it is worthless.
Again, if you have the traffic and a million unique visitors a day, but if you don't have what they're looking for, the visitors will not stick around for long. Therefore choosing the types of products and services to be offered to them decides whether they will stick around for long.
Your million visitors a day love your content and even bookmark your site, but without a strong call to action, they never buy or call or sign up for your services, products or do whatever which you brought them there to do. All three of these things must be in place in order for a website to achieve its purpose.
Website Traffic
There are a lot of ways to achieve a steady stream of website visitors, but getting visitors who are interested in your product or service or organization is important. Targeted traffic is the best, since they'll be most interested in your content and most likely to take action.
Getting good search engine traffic for your chosen key phrases by achieving a high organic search engine results placement is one of the best ways, though it is far from the only way. This is achieved through search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) which use onsite and offsite factors to target the visitors most likely to be interested in what you have to offer.
You can also pay for advertisement placement in the search engines and on other websites. If you sell products of any sort you can offer an affiliate program that pays your affiliates commissions on sales made from the traffic they refer to you, and let them generate traffic for you.
You can use social media to promote your website. Using Twitter, Face Book, social bookmarking sites and other social media tools can bring you targeted traffic. If your business or organization has a local or regional focus, then getting your website on Google Maps and other similar services will ensure you highly targeted traffic.
Website Contents
You need good, well-written content on your website, content that includes whatever it is that your visitors clicked to find. That content must be easy to read, easy to navigate, and packaged in a way that suits your goals. An accountant business wouldn't be well served by neon colored flashing and blinking website header, and a circus clown wouldn't do well with shades of beige business template. The website outlook must suit to the intended purpose.
The content should include keywords and key phrases that you would expect people to use to find your website. The more good content you have, the better. Each webpage is a back door into your website, and each webpage should be optimized for one topic, which is represented best by one keyword or key phrase.
Call to Action
When people arrive at your website, what is it that you want them to do? You need to define that and then make it really easy for them to do it; by telling them what you want them to do, and showing them how to do it. You need to do this on every page of your website in some form or fashion. If you sell hard goods, then you need to have your shopping cart located at the front and center. You need to locate your shopping cart prominently on every page.
If you want people to sign up for the venture, then your enrolment form better be very obvious. It also helps to give visitors some incentive to sign up, such as a free report when they've successfully submitted the form. Make sure your free offer is boldly stated. If you sell soft goods or are an affiliate marketer, your buy link should be big and bold and clearly marked.
If you want people to pick up the phone and call you, then your phone number better be prominent at the top and bottom of every piece of your content, with big bold letters that say, "Call now!"
