Multi Level Marketing-MLM

MLM is one easier way to get into business. MLM is not a pyramid system where you earn purely on recruiting people. In MLM, you recruit them not purely with the intention of getting a fee but motivate them towards achieving a common group objective. One usually has to start at the bottom in MLM, and therefore from scratch. No body starts from the top. You really have to put in lot of efforts and work your ladder up. You must have the determination and will to be successful too! On top of that, one has to devote plenty of one’s valuable time on it. Never give up until you have achieved your goal.
Anyone can be successful in a multi level marketing if one has the passion in it and the determination to succeed. It is not just selling products and services to family and friends. MLM leaders make their money not purely through their sales but sales done by their down lines and affiliates. By building a team and training them to be what you are not only help them, but yourself. Help them to duplicate themselves just like what you have done to duplicate yourself. Many have become millionaire through this way.
Getting started with MLM requires very low investment on the part of the affiliate. What is needed is the low initial registration fees and a machine to keep track of the sales information and to keep in touch with the affiliates. Any committed person can participate in a MLM venture with very little capital. This is in comparison to traditional businesses where you need a larger capital for rent, workers salary, marketing, stocks and etc.
A MLM business is very easy to operate. You need not have accountants to manage your balance sheet; there is not much of paper work and unnecessary book keeping. Whatever little paperwork is there, you can manage on your own. The rest of the paperwork is handled by the MLM Company so that you need not spend your time and energy in maintaining accounts. All you have to take care of is to manage your down lines so that they are motivated at all time.
It is easy to market the products and the business as a whole; you do not need to invest much money in learning the business and products as the MLM Company gives you free trainings.
Before you select any company to do MLM business with, you have to make sure that the company is worth the time you spend on it. Before making a decision, it is good that you study through the sales & profit reports available which will give you all the information you needed about the best MLM Company to start your business with.
In joining MLM venture, study through the compensation plan too. In fact there are various types of compensation plan as outlined.
Single Level Plans
This type of plan is often considered the simplest among the MLM compensation plans. As the name suggests, the plan allows a person to sponsor one line or level of distributors, called a frontline. Every distributor the person sponsors is considered to be on that sponsor's frontline and there are no widths limitations, meaning there is no limit to the number of people one can sponsor in the frontline. The common goal of this plan is to recruit a large pool of frontline distributors and then encourage them to do the same. This is due to the fact that commissions are normally paid out on a limited depth. The organization is encouraged to expense width wise, not depth wise.
Stair Step Breakaway Plans
This type of plan is characterized as having representatives who are responsible for both personal and group sales volumes. Volume is created by recruiting and by retailing product. Various discounts or rebates may be paid to group leaders and a group leader can be any representative with one or more down line recruits. Once predefined personal and/or group volumes are achieved, a representative moves up a commission level. This continues until the representative's sales volume reaches the top commission level and "breaks away" from their up line. From that point on, the new group is no longer considered part of his up line’s group and the multi-level compensation aspect ceases. The original up line usually continues to be compensated through override commissions and other incentives.
Matrix Plan
This type of plan is similar to a Single Level Plan, except there are also a limited number of representatives who can be placed on the first level. Recruits beyond the maximum number of first level positions allowed are automatically placed in other down line (lower level) positions. Matrix plans often have a maximum width and depth. When all positions in a representative's down line matrix are filled (maximum width and depth is reached for all participants in a matrix), a new matrix may be started. Like the Single Level Plans, representatives in a matrix earn unlimited commissions on limited levels of volume with minimal sales quotas.
Binary Plan
A Binary Plan is a multilevel marketing compensation plan which allows distributors to have only two front-line distributors. If a distributor sponsors more than two distributors, the excess are placed at levels below the sponsoring distributor’s front line. This "spillover" is one of the most attractive features to new distributors since they need only sponsor two distributors to participate in the compensation plan. The primary limitation is that distributors must "balance" their two down line legs to receive commissions. Balancing legs typically requires that the number of sales from one down line leg constitute no more than a specified percentage of the distributor's total sales.
Hybrid Plan
Hybrid Plans are compensation plans that are constructed using elements of more than one type of compensation plan as stated above.
